Alternator
The task of the alternator in the car is to supply the energy needed by different parts of the car. This is done by converting the mechanical energy transferred from the engine to the alternator by the alternator belt and converting it into electrical energy. The basis of this work is the interruption of the magnetic field lines of the stator due to the rotation of the rotor. The dynamos produced in this series are of the alternating current (alternative) type, whose main characteristic is the ability to generate electric current and charge the car battery even at low engine speed.
Solenoid
A car starter solenoid is a relatively simple mechanism that transfers electrical current from the battery to the starter. When you turn the key on, it starts the engine by activating the solenoid, using the electric motor in the starter. If the electric motor is not working properly, the vehicle may not start.
Starter
The task of the starter as an electric motor is to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. This energy is transferred to the flywheel gear through the pinion gear and causes the engine to start. The operation of the starter is based on the current passing through a conductor (armature), located in the magnetic field (magnets) and the power entering the conductor and its rotation.
